About Ghana Malaria Foundation

The GMF came about as a result of the search by stakeholders in malaria for alternate ways of fostering sustainability of funding for malaria in the face of dwindling donor funds, Ghana’s middle income status and demands for counterpart financing. Led by the National Malaria Control Program’s Resource Mobilization Unit, stakeholders organised a series of workshops to brainstorm on alternatives for achieving the objective of raising domestic funds.
